Today, House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn, D-S.C., and U.S. Rep Seth Moulton, D-Mass., are sponsoring the bill, which would include funds for the veterans’ descendants to use for college, housing or starting a business. This bill would grant benefits to descendants of WWII veterans of colour.
Our group, formerly Black Veterans Affairs, advocates for families and veteran transition strategies creating possibilities for Canadians to do more for veterans of colour and their families.
“When you are asked to be courageous in the face of what seems undauntable. This will make you strong and enduring for the rest of your life. These men and women are valuable examples in our story for our whole community to honor and treasure,” said Unblind Tibbin. A candidate in the recent Federal election for the Green Party of Canada in Humber River – Black Creek and supporter for the VOC memorial wall and garden GOFUNDME initiative.
This is an opportune moment in world history to acknowledge Veterans of Colour and their families in new ways that can help future generations.

Join the support for the Veterans of Colour Monument, Memorial Wall and Garden GOFUNDME campaign. Together, let’s redefine our stories and share our legacies.
