On Saturday, September 24, 2022 inside the Apostles Continuation Hall, the Ghanaian News in collaboration with the Ewe Association of Canada hosted a special event titled ‘The Royal Dinner & Durbar in honour of Togbi Nyaho Tamakloe VI, King (Miafiaga of Anlo Kingdom)’ inside the Apostles’ Continuation Hall, Etobicoke.
It featured profound speakers with impactful messages of unity, togetherness and the power to overcome a stained history to reached new social advancements worldwide and welcomed guests from various backgrounds. In attendance were GTA City Councillor Candidate for Ward 1 Charles Ozzoude; Pastor George, President of the International Society and other notables, including The Reset Community.
The event boasted traditional Ghanaian dancers, the Canadian and Ghanaian national Anthem, along with a libation tribute and spoken word by Powerful Steve on the importance of roots.The King and his guests flew in all the way from Ghana to attend the special event.
